We had the best Thanksgiving weekend away from the city bustle. The secluded escape provided us with unique and adventurous experiences. We loved exploring the charming and peaceful surrounding forests. The cheerful staff made our stay special with their warm welcome and the tasty Khmer and Western cuisine. , the comfortable rooms and the stunning view from the private balcony made it the perfect escape from reality.

The secluded location made it difficult to find. We had a little trouble reaching the hotel and would advise future travelers to use digital map applications.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! the location in a quiet area was just perfect for a peaceful retreat. Secondly, the staff were extremely friendly and provided excellent service throughout my stay. Finally, the rooms were comfortable, and I loved having a balcony to relax on.

The place is infested with mosquitoes, both inside and outside the rooms. the amenities are nothing special, with poor maintenance of the bikes and even the TV.

Our room at Samathi Lake Resort was beautiful and comfortable, with a great view of the pool. It was a nice surprise to find Netflix available in the room, perfect for relaxing after a long day of traveling. However, the glass bricks in the room let in too much light at dawn, which woke us up earlier than desired. Other than that, our stay was incredible. The food at the resort was consistently great, and the service from the staff was extra helpful and always accompanied by a cheery smile. The resort itself is a little oasis in the city, providing a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. We enjoyed the outdoor yoga classes and had a good workout in the basic gym. The reusable water bottles and free refills helped us stay hydrated and reduce plastic waste. Although the location of the resort is not very well situated, being far from other places, it was convenient for us as it was close to the airport. we would definitely recommend Samathi Lake Resort as a hidden gem.
